WHERE DO WE SHIP?

Laws for shipping alcohol vary by state. For wines made in California we currently ship to: AL, AZ, CA, CO, CT, DC, FL, GA, ID, IL, IA, KS, KY, MA, MD, ME, MI, MN, MO, MT, NE, NV, NH, NM, NY, NC, ND, OH, OR, PA, SC, TX, TN, VT, VA, WA, WV, WI.


For imported wines, wines originating outside of the United States, we currently ship to: CA, DC, FL, KY, MA, MN, NE, NV, NH, NM, NC, ND, OR, SC, TN, WV.


WHY DOES SHIPPING WINE COST SO MUCH?

Small shipments of wine are heavy, and large shipments of wine are bulky. Shipping partners charge based on weight, unless a box exceeds a certain size, and then they charge based on size too. Then we pay for an adult signature because someone over 21 must sign for the package (it's the law).

We provide flat rate shipping to every customer - here's what we charge:

1-2 bottles - $15

3-5 bottles - $10

6-11 bottles - $5

12 or more bottles we cover shipping!

It is best to buy 3 or more to maximize your value.


WHAT IS TEMPERATURE CONTROL SHIPPING?

Eliminate heat stress - for you and your wine! Choose Temperature Control Shipping at check out and ensure your wine arrives in perfect condition.

Fast facts about temperature controlled shipping:

  1. Orders placed online before 12pm PST on Tuesdays will be picked up by a temperature controlled truck that Friday. After the cutoff, your order will be held to ship the following Friday.
  2. You will receive an email with your tracking number once the label has been created.
  3. Your wine will travel in luxury to the nearest Hub city with temperature controlled precision.
  4. When it arrives at the Hub city, your tracking information will be scanned by the carrier and updated in their system. At this point, you can use your tracking number to follow your package.
  5. From your local hub it will be delivered by your preferred carrier via ground services, usually within a day or two after it arrives at the hub. Most shipments arrive on the Wednesday or Thursday following the Friday shipment.
  6. Temperature Control Shipping is available to all states we can normally ship to EXCEPT for AK, AZ, CA, HI, ID, KS, MT, ND, NE, NM, NV, OR, and WA.

CANCELLATIONS & RETURNS

Please read our entire Terms & Conditions for the full context of our conditions of sale. Once you have placed an order, please note that we are unable to cancel or edit your order. Accordingly, please ensure all product and delivery details are correct.

We do not accept returns for change of mind purchases.

In the unlikely event that the goods received are faulty or defective, not as ordered or not of acceptable quality, please contact us and we will attempt to remedy the situation as soon as possible. If a refund is to be made, it will be made to the same form of payment originally used for the purchase within 7-10 working days. Please note that refund payment times are dictated by the issuing bank and are outside our control. Please consult your bank for more information.

WHAT IF I HAVE A PROBLEM WITH MY ORDER?

At 19 Crimes, we want you to be happy with every aspect of your experience. If for any reason we did not meet that expectation, we would love to hear from you and have the opportunity to make you make things better. Please contact us as soon as the issue occurs.

DAMAGED IN SHIPPING

It is really unusual to receive a damaged product from us with our amazing fulfillment team. However, we're human and it happens. In the event you do experience a problem with an online shipment, please let us know as soon as you can. We can replace your wine or process a refund for your damaged items.

A photo of the damaged product(s) is required for all claims. Please consider current weather conditions when selecting your shipping method to help ensure your wine arrives in perfect condition.

INCORRECT OR MISSING BOTTLES OF WINE

Again, we're human and we, occasionally, make mistakes. If we made a packing error, we would like to resolve it for you. In the event that we shipped you incorrect items, let us know and we'll determine a resolution. In some cases, we may ask you to hold on to the bottles and packaging so that we can arrange for a return pick up. If you find that items are missing from your order, we are happy to assist you to process a new order or a refund for your missing items.

VINTAGE SUBSTITUTIONS

On occasion, a chosen vintage of a wine may sell out or be replaced by a new release after your order is placed. We will not hold up your order. We will automatically substitute the wine with the comparable vintage. We will only substitute with a vintage for the same type and varietal.
